Taken together, the Renault–Nissan Alliance include the world’s fourth largest automaker. Nissan will be the leading Japanese brand in China, Russia and Mexico.In 2014 Nissan was the most important car manufacturer in North America.Nissan would be the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, with global sales greater than 320,000 all-electric vehicles by April 2018. The top-selling vehicle on the carmaker's lineup may be the Nissan LEAF, an all-electric car as well as the world's top-selling highway-capable plug-in electric car in the past.In January 2018, Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa announced that most Infiniti vehicles launched from 2021 is going to be hybrid vehicles or all-electric vehicles.
